How to submit RSS feed as XML sitemap for Blogger in Webmaster tool?

Submitting Sitemap is a very important aspect in SEO. Sitemap makes sure Google constantly gets data to index. Many blog authors are unaware that they can submit their RSS feed as a sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools.

Sitemaps are a way to tell Google about pages on your site which Google might not otherwise discover. You can also use a Sitemap to provide additional information about your site, such as the date it was last updated, and how often you expect the page to change.

Sitemaps are particularly helpful if:

1. Your site has dynamic content.
2. Your site has pages that aren't easily discovered by Googlebot during the crawl process—for example, pages featuring rich AJAX or images.
3. Your site is new and has few links to it. (Googlebot crawls the web by following links from one page to another, so if your site isn't well linked, it may be hard for us to discover it.)
4. Your site has a large archive of content pages that are not well linked to each other, or are not linked at all.

RSS Feed as Sitemap in Blogger
If you look at the RSS feed you will see that its something like this.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/LatestTechTips

But when you go to Google Webmaster Tool you will find that the RSS URL should be within your domain example

www.latest-techtips.com/sitemap.xml

Now you must be wondering how do I convert http://feeds.feedburner.com/LatestTechTips

to

www.latest-techtips.com/feeds.feedburner.com/LatestTechTips

Well you don't have to worry. You can also access your blogs RSS feed with this alternate URL which lies within your domain example.

www.latest-techtips.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss

So simply add this "feeds/posts/default?alt=rss" in to the webmaster tools service and you are all set with setting up your blogs RSS feed in Google webmaster tools.
