The Indian Government has made it compulsory to all Indian Tax Payers to eFile Tax returns in case your Annual income is more than Rs 500000. This decision has impacted lacks of people who fall into this Tax bracket.
Contrary to the popular belief e Filing is very simple and can be done in less than half an hour and its for free.
Just follow below steps:
1. Go to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
2. Register yourself if not done already.
3. In registration Page select Individual and continue.
4. Once you have registered now click on Quick e-File ITR option.
5. Submit all the details from your Form 16 into Income Details Tab.
6. Once you have done few changes keep pressing Save Draft on a periodic basis.
7. After entering all the details enter your mobile, email and other details and verify all details in Tax Paid and Verification Tab.
8. Once that is done finally press Submit.
9. You will get acknowledgement on your email.
After that you need to send the copy of ITR V
