As per Apple chief Tim Cook the new tablet by Microsoft is "compromised". In a conference call to discuss Apple's earnings report he expressed these strong views.
Following are the 2 critical statements of Tim Cook.
"I haven't personally played with the Surface yet but what we are reading about it is that it is a fairly compromised, confusing product," Cook said.
"I suppose you could design a car that flies and floats but I don't think it would do all of those things very well."
Tim cook also expressed confidence that buyers will prefer iPads.
Apple has said that it sold 26.9 million iPhones (58% more) and 14 million(26% more) iPads in the recently ended quarter. Microsoft launched its first flagship surface tablet at a starting price of $499 same as the Apple iPad.
