HOW TO: Block Spam Pesky Text SMS Senders?

You have won a 500000  GBP contact abc to complete formalities. Are you annoyed with these kind of fraud SMSs? These fraud SMSs have become a problem across the world and now India is the new victim.

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority Of India) have come up with a way to deal with pesky SMS senders. So what can you do to block such unsolicited commercial messages?

All you have to do is simply forward the unwanted SMS to number 1909. 


Following actions will be taken against the telemarketers:

1. Unsolicited commercial communication should be charged Rs 500 per message. 
2. After 10 such instances, the marketer's phone connection will be disconnected.
