I am going to write about my experience with bookmyshow.com about this incidence as well as experiences in the past. I have booked many movie tickets via bookmyshow.com and I must say the service is good.
When the booking got cancelled I got messages from 3 different sources.
1. While booking via net banking.
2. SMS from Bookmyshow.
Good part is I had a clear record of failed transaction by bookmyshow.com. They also mentioned a contact number and stated in all the messages that I will get refund within 15 days.
I did not bother to call any call center or contact them since I wanted to wait for few days and check. To my surprise I got a refund withing 3 working days and I had not faced any problems except the fact that the movie plan was ruined.
I wrote this article just for general awareness that booking movie tickets online is safe especially via bookmyshow.com.
