Doodle For Google India 2010 Contest Winner Announced.

Today on the occasion of Children's Day in India Google has announced the Overall National winner of "Doodle for Google" competition which was held for Indian students and the theme for which was "My Dream Of India".


This really is a proud moment for the winner whose Doodle would be seen by hundreds of millions of people in India and also the world. The winner is 14 year old Class 9 student Akshay Raj from St. Aloysius High School Mangalore.

Here is how Google Doodle designed by Akshay Raj looked like. Also you can look at it live at http://www.google.co.in/ on 14th November 2010 (Children's Day). He was voted as the winner in Group C by people from all over India. Akshay was also chosen as the overall India winner by the legendary Google Doodler Dennis Hwang.
Akshay Raj has won a Technology Starter Package and also won a whooping Technology Grant of  200,000 for his school St. Aloysius High School from Google. Great Going Akshay.
