Google PageRank is an algorithm which indicates the relevance of the content in your website to the keywords searched in Google. The better the pagerank more importance Google gives to your content and higher it features in the search list. Google pagerank is given from 0 – 10. 0 means least popular and 10 means most popular.

How do you check you websites Google PageRank? Well it’s simpler than you can even imagine. Just visit the site www.prchecker.info and enter your website address and press submit. You will find your Pagerank between 0 to 10. If you find 0 as your pagerank don’t worry every website starts with a 0. There are millions if not billions of websites in the world.
Here is the detailed explanation of each rank in Google Pagerank.

0 or Zero means Unranked and no one or just a handful of people have ever heard of your website.The real game starts here

  • PageRank 1 indicates very low in popularity but you at least have a rank.
  • PageRank 2 indicates very low in popularity but your website has the potential to progress further.
  • PageRank 3 indicates your website is ranked lowest amongst top 100,000,000 websites in the world.
  • PageRank 4 indicates you have reached the top 10,000,000 websites in the world being 1 in a 10 Million is a great thing. The Pagerank of 4 onwards starts getting some respect.
  • PageRank 5 indicates you have reached one in a million and are in the top 1,000,000 websites that’s a huge thing.
Here are the leaders:

  • PageRank 6 indicates your website is in the top 100,000 websites and has tremendous potential to earn lot of money. You are highly popular and have a minimum of 50000 - 100000 visitors each day.
  • PageRank 7 indicates you are in the top 10,000 websites and have potentially more than 100000 visitors a day. You have started printing money by now.
  • PageRank 8 Google gives utmost respect to every word in your website and has a huge impact on the search results you are now in the top 1,000 websites in the world less than 0.00001 % of the world’s websites can achieve this tremendous achievement.
  • PageRank 9 You are probably a website which people visit at least once or twice a week and can have visitors up to 1 million a day and you are in the top 100. Only 0.00000001% or less can achieve this. If you have that Pagerank probably you will not be required to read this article you know what you have. Your website has earning capacity of millions of not Billions.
  • PageRank 10 Probably 1 in 10 people surfing the internet would visit your website each day. People can’t live without paying your website a visit. Your website earnings are in Billions of Dollars (if you are into it for making money twitter is an exception) and you have offices around the world, thousands of employees. You are in the top 10. Out of hundreds of Millions of websites if you are in the top 10 then you are certainly a force to reckon with and have the potential to change the world.

  1. I really enjoyed this post. Recently, I've been focusing on page rank with my own blog. In order to do this I had to put in a lot of time reading, learning, and experimenting. After I did search on what my PR was, I discovered that I was ranked 16.5 millionth. (and some change). I started implementing some of the things I was learning and in 6 days, no lie, 6 days I jumped from 16.5 million to 5.85 million!!! I realize I still have a ways to go but nonetheless I was pretty pumped. Thanks for posting this. I really like it.
