How to use Indian Rupee symbol in HTML, Gmail, Blogs and Websites?

I had been getting many requests to post this and here it is. I found out many ways in which people tried to use the new rupee symbol in HTML pages some of them use SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files which run only in IE, some use java scripts which don't work really well either. I found out the simplest way.

Today I will show you a very simple trick which will give you ability to embed rupee symbol in HTML, Gmail, Blogs, Websites etc. I designed a high quality transparent rupee font image for achieving this. Transparent background image blends in the background and gives the viewer impression that he is looking at normal font.

    10. The tip is fine, but in Gmail you need to have Image in email enabled via Google Labs under your settings. Appreciate if you add that information on your blog.
