
Today I will show you a very simple trick which will give you ability to embed rupee symbol in HTML, Gmail, Blogs, Websites etc. I designed a high quality transparent rupee font image for achieving this. Transparent background image blends in the background and gives the viewer impression that he is looking at normal font.
How to use Rupee Symbol in HTML:
Just use this code:

- Copy Paste Above code where you want to place the rupee symbol in your HTML.
- You can specify your own height and width to suite your web page requirements.

How to use Rupee Symbol in Gmail:
- Just log-into your Gmail account.
- Click on Compose mail
- Insert image using Image Insert option.
- SelectWebAddress (URL) option.
- Insert the url "
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ht1_rh8kGYQ/TKIOeWT_v2I/AAAAAAAADB0/u0lYZy7By8I/s1600/RupeeFont.png".
- Click OK.
- Click on the image and re-size the image as per your requirement.You are done see screen shot below for details.

ReplyDeleteThe tip is fine, but in Gmail you need to have Image in email enabled via Google Labs under your settings. Appreciate if you add that information on your blog.
