How to submit your website for indexing to Yahoo?

I have already mention the importance of SEO for your website to gain many visitors and also mentioned "How you can request indexing for your site to Microsoft Bing". Just to take things further I will today show you how you can submit your website to Yahoo for indexing.

Following are the steps for you to follow:

1. You must have a yahoo account for this to happen. If not click here its free.
   
2. Visit Yahoo site explorer
3. Put your URL in the search box and check if it is already indexed or not.
4. If not then go to Submit your URL to Yahoo.
   
5. Just click on Submit a website or Web page
6. Put your website address and click on Submit URL button.
7. You are all set now.

As always remember submitting URL does not mean your website is immediately indexed it is just put explicitly to the queue for indexing and the Yahoo web crawler will index your website whenever your websites turn comes. This may take few days or few weeks no body knows. But at least you have started the process for indexing on Yahoo search.

Its better than not getting indexed at all.
